Operation: Dour Suppression

Attention, capsuleers of the Gallente Federation Militia. The Guristas Pirates have become a direct threat to our democracy, spreading their insurgency into our sovereign space. We must drive them out of our vital systems and keep our trade lines secure. This campaign centers on the Dour system, running from 5 June YC128 to 5 July YC128. Leave their wrecks smoldering throughout the region.

CRITICAL NOTE: This campaign will fail if corruption reaches Stage 5 before suppression does.

In April YC128, Alix Moreau was elected President of the Gallente Federation, claiming a narrow victory over Soraya Roden after a fiercely contested campaign. As the new administration takes charge, securing Federation borders against pirate incursions is paramount. Meanwhile, the broader cluster remains highly volatile. In May YC128, the Caldari State launched a major offensive, conquering the Syndicate region and demanding the surrender of local authorities. This was closely followed by the arrest of Silphy en Diabel, the unofficial leader of the Intaki-Syndicate, by Lai Dai Protection Service forces in New Caldari. Furthermore, the vital trade hub of Jita saw its stargates heavily damaged by spacetime fractures before being placed under CONCORD administrative oversight. Even as new frontiers open—such as the establishment of the Exordium region by CONCORD and AIR Laboratories in April YC128—the core systems of the Federation remain under severe threat.
