"They built their empire on the backs of people who could see further than them. That was always going to be their mistake."
Aliviana Alament was born in the dust and iron of Pator, third daughter of a Sebiestor salvage family whose livelihood depended on reading broken things, warship debris, and failed colony equipment, the bones of machines abandoned when the Amarr took what they wanted and burned what they didn't. Her childhood was not marked by comfort but by precision. Her father taught her that a ship's hull whispers where it has been. Her mother taught her that silence in the void is never truly empty.
What the Amarr could not take from her people, the void still held. She became a capsuleer not out of ambition for wealth or empire, but out of a cold and calculated certainty: that the stars were full of what the Republic needed, and that someone had to go get it. She would be that someone.
The Void Renders No Tribute
The Amarr Empire is built on the extraction of labour, of culture, and of will. Space itself owes them nothing. Every uncharted system, every anomaly signal, every relic container floating in the dark is sovereign ground that no golden throne has ever touched. Aliviana operates on the principle that the unknown is the Republic's greatest untaxed resource, and exploration is the act of claiming it. She maps what is unmapped, catalogs what is uncatalogued, and ensures that intelligence about the void flows to Minmatar hands before any other.
The Relic Feeds the Forge
Ancient technology does not discriminate between liberator and oppressor, it simply waits. The ruins of Sleepers, the caches of the Talocan, the wreckage scattered across wormhole space: these are not curiosities. They are raw material. Recovered salvage and reverse-engineered components flow through Aliviana's network directly into Republic arms production, fitting costs, and the supply chains of capsuleers who fight rather than trade.
The Horizon is Not the End
Freedom is not a single engagement. It is not one battle, one treaty, or one symbolic gesture.
