The Call for New Blood
Authorized by DeT Resprox on behalf of the Ushra'Khan alliance, the Ushra'Khan New Blood Combat Campaign calls upon the newest recruits in our ranks to prove their worth on the battlefield. This campaign runs from 5 October YC128 to 19 October YC128 and is strictly for pilots who have held continuous alliance membership for less than one calendar month at the time of each contribution.
As the oldest continuously active capsuleer alliance in New Eden—founded in late YC106—Ushra'Khan operates as a cause-driven paramilitary revolutionary front. Their ideological mandate is absolute: the liberation of the Minmatar people and the total destruction of the institution of slavery. In keeping with this mandate, your objective for this deployment is simple: hunt down and destroy vessels belonging to capsuleers enlisted with either the Amarr Empire or the Angel Cartel.
Note: Capsules and NPC kills do not count towards this campaign. There are no system-occupation restrictions.
A Shifting Political Landscape
This call to arms occurs against a backdrop of massive political shifts across the cluster. In September YC128, the Starkmanir Restoration achieved an Inner Circle majority, officially recognizing Arzad and Ezzara as sovereign Minmatar space. Meanwhile, the Amarr Empire recently celebrated Empress Catiz I's Jubilee with the Blessed Exchange Edict, further entrenching their economic and political power. Amidst these high-level maneuvers, grassroots efforts like the Jetunba Do'bara project—a living saga rooted in a YC107 initiative in Amamake—continue to provide critical relief, with the Hearth recently coming online in Dammalin to shelter refugees.
Active Frontlines
New recruits will not be fighting alone. This combat initiative runs parallel to the Ushra'Khan FW Plexing Campaign, another active operation authorized by DeT Resprox to push fresh pilots into factional warfare complexes. Additionally, the VIRTUS CRUSADE - FACTIONAL WARFARE EXPERT II remains active across the warzone; the latest log notes from 17 September YC128 indicate that allied forces have secured decisive engagements to seize battlefield momentum and apply immense pressure against enemy fleets.
Historical Precedents and Recent Outcomes
The Ushra'Khan and their allies have a long, bloody history of striking at Amarrian and Cartel targets, and new blood must learn from both our victories and our defeats.
- FW Capture and Defend concluded on 1 October YC128; outcome: Aliviana Alament’s sweeping faction warfare directive was brought to a definitive and victorious close across the Heimatar and Devoid frontlines.
- Advantage Vard concluded on 24 May YC128; outcome: the operation ended in absolute success, flooding the warzone with tactical advantage operations to break the system from within.
- Auga FW Plexing and Advantage Auga both concluded in early May YC128; outcome: these grueling sieges ended in definitive operational success, liberating the "Iron Lung of the Republic" from Amarrian control.
- Economic strikes have also proven devastating. A series of operations, including Olfeim POCO destruction Planet III and Olfeim POCO Destruction, concluded in late March YC128; outcome: allied forces successfully shattered the orbital economic monopoly held by the Sedition alliance and their subordinate corporation, Custom Office Confiscation Konglomerate.
However, the Angel Cartel remains a lethal threat that cannot be underestimated. Angel Complex Capture in Siseide concluded on 27 April YC128; outcome: the campaign to secure the Anvil of Hed ended in definitive failure despite a fierce initial defense. Similarly, Olfeim Suppression concluded on 21 March YC128; outcome: the system was overrun by Cartel shadows, ending in a grim failure for the defenders.
The blood of the fallen paves the way for the new generation. Undock, hunt your targets, and show the Empire and the Cartel that we come for our people.

THE CRUCIBLE CONCLUDES: NEW BLOOD FORGED IN FIRE
The Ushra'Khan New Blood Combat Campaign has reached its definitive conclusion, ending in absolute success. Over the past two weeks, we threw our freshest recruits into a brutal crucible across the Heimatar and Devoid frontlines, demanding relentless combat pressure against the Amarr Empire and Angel Cartel. The objective was never flawless survival, but rather grinding attrition and battlefield momentum. Despite absorbing horrific losses as our inexperienced hunters learned under fire, they shattered nearly three billion ISK in hostile hardware. We have successfully forged a hardened revolutionary vanguard, capable of applying lethal pressure against entrenched empire loyalists. The operation has fully achieved its mandate.
- Ziggums executed a devastating strike in Auga, bringing down a hostile Vargur to strip over 1.1 billion ISK from enemy reserves.
- sliels maintained relentless offensive momentum throughout the deployment, culminating in the destruction of a 234 million ISK Maelstrom in Dal.
- Amarr Empire and Angel Cartel loyalists mounted a fierce defense, inflicting heavy counter-losses upon Padkin Binchiette and miho Ronuken across deeply contested systems.
We deployed our rawest operatives in early October YC128 with a singular directive: undock and bleed the enemy. The opening days established a baseline of sheer violence in Sirekur and Ontorn. Our hunters immediately engaged hostile targets of opportunity, prioritizing kinetic pressure over tactical caution. Torlin Valric and sliels proved the doctrine viable, scoring early cruiser kills and setting an aggressive operational pace. We were trading inexpensive hulls for vital battlefield momentum, and the newly formed vanguard fully embraced the uncompromising nature of the grinder.
The opposition certainly did not sit idle. Recognizing the sudden surge in our frontline activity, Amarr Empire and Angel Cartel veterans organized vicious rapid-response fleets designed to rapidly blunt our advance. As we pushed deeper into the contested spaces of Siseide and Eszur, our combatants were repeatedly caught in heavy, concentrated crossfires. miho Ronuken and Padkin Binchiette suffered heavily under this focused counter-pressure. Every shattered friendly chassis provided the enemy a momentary tactical advantage, yet our resilient pilots simply reshipped and returned to the field.
By the midpoint of the campaign, the fighting had devolved into a grueling, protracted war of attrition centered largely around the chokepoints of Dal and Auga. The learning curve remained incredibly steep and unforgiving, costing us dozens of forward-deployed hulls. Yet, our resolve never fractured under the assault. Nazgu'l and Beltard Arsten forced localized engagements across the grid, dismantling enemy frigates and destroyers to keep the hostile defensive lines constantly off-balance. We were bleeding profusely, but successfully maintaining our operational footprint.
This sustained battlefield pressure eventually cracked the enemy's rigid defensive posture, forcing critical errors and exposing their heavy, high-value assets. Bishop Crow seized upon an isolated hostile Typhoon in Amamake, coordinating a flawless takedown that incinerated nearly 247 million ISK. Down the pipe in Auga, Ziggums capitalized on the escalating frontline chaos to completely shatter a heavily armored Vargur. These key high-value executions clearly demonstrated that our newest blood could effectively punch upward when the battlefield momentum finally shifted in our favor.
The final tally undeniably underscores the sheer, unyielding brutality of this specific deployment. We deliberately absorbed 134 total hull losses over the full campaign window, using every death as an instructional tool. The enemy capitalized heavily on our forward aggression, particularly hounding sliels across multiple regions and gate camps. However, this intentional attrition ultimately yielded 45 confirmed hostile destructions, permanently removing nearly three billion ISK of imperial and cartel hardware from the cluster. Our operatives traded efficiently in strategic value, fully proving their worth.
This massive mobilization concludes as an unequivocal operational success. We initiated this deployment to forge a hardened new generation of revolutionary shock troops, and the crucible delivered on every front. The Amarr Empire and Angel Cartel threw their veteran weight at our newest pilots, yet they utterly failed to break our advancing lines. The blood spilled over these two grueling weeks has secured vital tactical experience for our rawest recruits, practically guaranteeing that our future offensives will strike with even greater precision and lethality.
THE CRUCIBLE REMAINS OPEN: NEW BLOOD ATTRITION
The crucible of new blood remains open as our fresh recruits maintain battlefield momentum across contested fronts. From Mon 12 Oct to Thu 15 Oct, Ushra'Khan vanguard elements secured scattered engagements against Amarrian and Cartel opposition, prioritizing kills and constant pressure over immediate survival. Attrition continues to define this deployment, with 7 confirmed hostile hulls destroyed for 43.3 million ISK, against 23 friendly losses. Our hunters are paying for every tactical lesson in blood, but the ongoing operations in Dal and Auga prove they are refusing to yield the warzone. The campaign remains entirely active.
- Nazgu'l and Robotan Sebs locked down hostile vessels in Dal, executing a 7.5 million ISK Slasher to maintain frontline pressure.
- Beltard Arsten secured a crucial engagement against an enemy Merlin, destroying the 18.2 million ISK hull in Dal.
- Hostile response fleets inflicted severe attrition upon our advancing lines, catching Vikak Achasse and Lok bad 128 multiple times across Auga and Abudban.
The recent call for new blood continues to shape our approach to the warzone. Our recruits are throwing themselves into volatile engagements, prioritizing aggressive tactics and kinetic pressure. While the kill tallies remain modest, the willingness of these hunters to repeatedly undock and face superior odds dictates the current battlefield momentum.
In Dal, the fighting reached a fever pitch around 20:00. Nazgu'l led the charge, claiming multiple hostile hulls, including a Dragoon in Auga. These kills represent vital lessons in applying pressure and securing field superiority against entrenched Amarrian and Cartel loyalists.
The enemy response was immediate and merciless. Hostile elements pushed back, extracting a heavy toll in friendly attrition. Beltard Arsten, despite scoring key executions, found himself on the receiving end of focused hostile fire, suffering multiple localized losses across Aset and Ardar.
We cannot ignore the brutal reality of these losses. Veterans like sliels continue to ride a razor's edge, balancing fleeting victories against repeated structural failures. Victims like Vikak Achasse have paid heavily for their deployments. Yet, every shattered hull buys us tactical data and hardens the resolve of the next generation.
THE CRUCIBLE DEMANDS BLOOD: ATTRITION IN ASET AND SISEIDE
The crucible of new blood continues to grind our fresh recruits against the harsh realities of the Heimatar and Devoid frontlines. Between 8 October and 11 October YC128, Ushra'Khan vanguard elements faced a punishing wall of hostile engagements. We secured 5 confirmed enemy hull destructions, shattering 75.1 million ISK of Amarr and Cartel assets. However, the battlefield momentum remains fraught with heavy attrition, costing us 40 hulls as our youngest pilots test their tactical resolve. The operation remains fully active, with combat pressure radiating outward from Dal, Aset, and Siseide. We are trading ships for operational experience, forging a sharper revolutionary blade through continuous, deliberate combat against empire loyalists.
- Robotan Sebs secured a heavy engagement in Aset, successfully running down a hostile Vexor and dealing 38.3 million ISK in damage to enemy infrastructure.
- Fierce resistance from Amarr and Cartel forces claimed 40 friendly hulls, driven heavily by relentless counter-assaults targeting miho Ronuken across Siseide and Eszur.
- Ziggums struck decisively in Auga, dismantling a Vigil Fleet Issue amidst chaotic frontline skirmishes, maintaining our offensive combat pressure.
The hunt across the warzone is yielding necessary tactical lessons against the backdrop of the Starkmanir Restoration. As our newest pilots deploy, they carry the ideological mandate of the Minmatar people. In Aset, Robotan Sebs executed a textbook strike against a heavy drone platform. Applying sustained combat pressure, they dropped a hostile Vexor worth over 38 million ISK. This kill validates the close-quarters engagement doctrines we impart to our recruits, proving they can execute precision strikes while navigating a rapidly shifting geopolitical landscape.
Down the pipe in the contested system of Auga, Ziggums matched this baseline aggression. Catching a Vigil Fleet Issue out of position, they dismantled the hostile frigate amidst chaotic frontline skirmishes. This added 24.6 million ISK to our destruction tally. These individual victories are vital for morale. Following the sweeping success of recent factional warfare directives, these kills prove that our rawest combat elements can draw blood from established empire loyalists, seizing momentary battlefield control when tactical odds are tight.
But the enemy is neither blind nor idle, and the brutal attrition rate reflects their punishing response to our incursions. Returning combatants like sliels and miho Ronuken found themselves in the crosshairs repeatedly as hostiles deployed heavy counter-assaults. miho Ronuken absorbed devastating pressure across Siseide and Eszur, ultimately losing eight hulls valued at 73 million ISK. Empowered by the economic momentum of Empress Catiz I's recent Jubilee, imperial loyalists are aggressively policing their borders, striking back with overwhelming localized force.
The gauntlet extended across multiple vectors, catching sliels in a relentless crossfire. Continuing a bloody streak of deep engagements, they sacrificed five ships to the grinder in Amamake and Eszur. The enemy is heavily utilizing gate camps and localized rapid-response fleets to isolate our forward hunters. Our recruits are learning the hard way that battlefield momentum is fragile. However, our continuous operations in these zones provide necessary screening for the grassroots Jetunba Do'bara relief efforts deeper in our territory.
The losses ripple further down our deployment roster. Vikak Achasse and returning casualty Padkin Binchiette were consistently hounded by opposing fleets, losing multiple chassis to focused hostile fire in Auga and Gulmorogod. We expected this crucible to be unforgiving. Every shattered hull is an instructional failure that hardens the survivors against Amarrian tactics. We are intentionally absorbing this attrition because the combat data gained is essential for cultivating hardened revolutionary shock troops capable of breaking the institution of slavery.
Despite a heavy 40-hull deficit, our overarching posture remains hyper-aggressive. We are still forcing engagements, applying combat pressure in Dal and Siseide late into the cycle. Boy Henry’s recent Rifter kill in Siseide epitomizes our relentless forward momentum. The campaign is far from over. Much like the historical sieges that liberated the Iron Lung of the Republic, this conflict requires patience. We will continue to undock, hunt our targets, and bleed on the frontlines until our enemies break.
THE CRUCIBLE OF NEW BLOOD
Reviewing the opening days of our new recruitment initiative, our battlefield momentum remains heavily contested. This initial window of the New Blood campaign is characterized by intense engagements and punishing attrition rates. Our latest Ushra'Khan operatives have taken to the stars to hunt Amarr Empire and Angel Cartel loyalists, throwing hulls into the meat grinder to secure critical combat pressure across the warzone. While the sheer volume of friendly losses reflects the brutal learning curve expected of raw recruits, the isolated kills achieved demonstrate an emerging tactical edge. We are bleeding, but we are bleeding them in return as this deployment continues its relentless grind.
- Torlin Valric executed a decisive takedown of a hostile Scythe Fleet Issue in Siseide, removing 75 million ISK from the grid.
- sliels applied heavy combat pressure in Amamake, crippling a Kikimora and stripping 70 million ISK from enemy reserves.
- Amarr Empire and Angel Cartel resistance proved fierce, inflicting 58 total hull losses upon our inexperienced hunting packs.
The opening phase of this deployment has been defined by high-intensity engagements in Sirekur. Hostile forces pushed back violently against our patrols, leading to concentrated skirmishes peaking around 19:00. These early clashes established the baseline for our current combat pressure, forcing our recruits to adapt quickly to live-fire conditions.
Despite the steep attrition, individual hunters have shown undeniable promise. sliels led the offensive tally with eight confirmed kills, tracking victims through Hofjaldgund and securing a notable Thrasher Fleet Issue destruction. Their aggression highlights the exact battlefield momentum we demand from this operational push.
However, our forces are taking heavy punishment from Amarr Empire and Angel Cartel veterans. sliels and Padkin Binchiette suffered heavily in the crossfire, sustaining 17 and 9 losses respectively. This steep toll in hulls underscores the lethal nature of the frontlines as we continue to shape our raw recruits into hardened operatives.
The telemetry reflects a diverse spread of engagements. Our tactical footprint included successful strikes against specialized hardware like Kikimoras, alongside standard fleet issue cruisers and destroyers. This variety of victims confirms that our hunters are engaging targets of opportunity across the spectrum, keeping the opposition off-balance and applying sustained pressure across all fronts.
