PANDORA CAMPAIGN CHANGES

Campaign rewards are now sponsor-driven; countering intelligence expanded with performance tracking, hotspots, and PANDAX counter-campaigns

Campaign Reward System Update

PANDORA has deployed a significant update to the Campaign Rewards system, aimed at improving clarity, flexibility, and long-term maintainability for both campaign organizers and participating pilots.

Rewards are no longer defined at the moment a campaign is created. Instead, campaigns are now launched first, with rewards added later by the campaign creator or invited agents acting as sponsors. This change introduces a clean separation between campaign structure and reward sponsorship, keeping campaign creation tidy while allowing rewards to evolve over time. Campaign creators may now add their own rewards after launch, alongside additional sponsors, without cluttering or rewriting the original campaign configuration.

For sponsors and agents, reward management has been significantly refined. Each sponsor now maintains their own independent reward set, presented in a structured list that only displays sections where values have actually been defined. Empty reward categories are automatically hidden, making it easier to review, edit, and audit active rewards. Sponsors can safely add, update, or refine rewards at any point during the campaign lifecycle without impacting other sponsors or the core campaign data.

For pilots participating in campaigns, reward calculation is now fully aligned with verified campaign combat activity. Payouts are evaluated using campaign-tracked kills and participation records, ensuring consistency between in-space actions and earned rewards. Leaderboard placements, kill thresholds, top-performance bonuses (such as top damage, most final blows, or most solo kills), and targeted entity rewards are all derived directly from campaign data.

Transparency has also been improved. Participants will only see reward categories that actively apply, with clear separation between base payouts, bonus rewards, and any applied modifiers. Standing-based adjustments and sponsor-defined affiliate bonuses are applied consistently, giving pilots a clearer picture of how their final reward totals are calculated. If a reward is shown, it is active and attainable.

This update reinforces PANDORA’s goal of keeping campaigns flexible for organizers while remaining fair, readable, and rewarding for those on the front lines. Campaign creators are encouraged to add rewards once objectives are clear, and pilots should always review sponsor reward listings before committing to extended operations.

Campaign Countering & Involvement Intelligence Expanded

PANDORA has deployed a major upgrade to campaign intelligence reporting, introducing a far more granular separation between involved and countering activity. These changes are designed to surface defensive pressure, interdiction, and denial efforts that previously blended into general combat totals, allowing campaign momentum to be assessed with much greater accuracy.

Countering actions are now tracked as a first-class metric across campaigns, highlighting not just who appears on killmails, but how consistently and where opposition forces apply pressure. This enables commanders and participants to identify emerging fault lines in a campaign long before objectives formally shift.

What’s new

  • Dedicated Countering Performance panel, highlighting:
    • Most kills delivered while countering a campaign
    • Highest total damage inflicted in opposition
    • Most ISK destroyed through counter-actions
    • Most-used ship hulls during countering operations
  • Engagement rate metrics for top countering pilots, reflecting presence across countering killmails rather than raw volume alone
  • Top Ships Used (Countering) analysis, showing which hulls are most frequently deployed to resist or disrupt campaign objectives
  • Top Systems (Countering) breakdown, clearly indicating where countering pressure is being applied across the warzone
  • Countering-only leaderboards, derived exclusively from loss-inflicting opposition activity and kept separate from reward or participation scoring

In addition, PANDORA now actively evaluates countering intensity as a campaign develops. When countering activity reaches 75% saturation, those opposing the campaign gain access to PANDAX counter-campaign generation, enabling the creation of a structured response operation directly from observed battlefield conditions. This allows reactive campaigns to be grounded in real data rather than narrative speculation.

These updates also make it significantly easier to identify where the action is taking place. System-level countering data surfaces hotspots of resistance, suppression, and escalation, providing immediate situational awareness for both participants and observers. Whether assessing defensive success or planning the next phase of an operation, PANDORA now presents a clearer map of pressure, response, and momentum.

As campaigns evolve and resistance intensifies, these additions ensure PANDORA continues to reflect the true dynamics of conflict in New Eden — capturing not only who advances an objective, but who stands in its way, where they do it, and when that resistance becomes a campaign in its own right.

More refinements are already in motion. Fly dangerous out there!
