The Minmatar Republic faces constant pressure from hostile forces seeking to exploit its borders. Pirates, opportunists, and imperial loyalists regularly raid Republic space, threatening civilian shipping and testing the resolve of the Tribes. Among these enemies, the Amarr Empire and the Angel Cartel remain the most persistent insurgents, launching frequent incursions into Minmatar territory.
This defensive initiative, Republic Border Patrol, runs from 19 April YC128 to 19 May YC128. Under the banner of the oldest alliance in New Eden—Ushra'Khan—capsuleers are called upon to defend Republic space. Destroy hostile non-capsuleer vessels operating within Republic systems and help secure our borders. This mission is intended for newly awakened capsuleers less than two months old. The mission was created by DeT Resprox on behalf of T.R.I.A.D. Founded in YC108, T.R.I.A.D stands as an ideological pillar of the Matari resistance and a core executor of the Ushra'Khan alliance. Their operational mandate is explicitly focused on the liberation of Minmatar slaves, the defense of tribal territories, and the systematic dismantling of Amarrian imperialist infrastructure. T.R.I.A.D pilots are recognized as fixtures in regions like Metropolis, projecting disciplined military power across the warzone.
The defense of our borders is an ongoing struggle. Earlier iterations of the Republic Border Patrol missions were accepted and participated in by loyalists throughout March YC128. The broader conflict has seen numerous flashpoints across the Republic. Dammalin Suppression concluded on 18 March YC128; outcome: a definitive strategic victory for the Minmatar Republic against encroaching corruption. Conversely, Olfeim Suppression concluded on 21 March YC128; outcome: formally concluded in total failure despite dedicated containment efforts by Republic loyalists against the Angel Cartel. Economic warfare has also been prevalent; Olfeim POCO destruction Planet III concluded on 24 March YC128; outcome: strategic success as an Ushra'Khan-authorized economic strike against the Sedition. alliance succeeded.
Further victories have bolstered Matari morale. Auga Liberation concluded on 28 March YC128; outcome: success, with Matari forces breaking the Amarrian stranglehold on the "Burning Gate", a critical low-security system. Alakgur Suppression concluded on 06 April YC128; outcome: absolute victory as combined capsuleer forces of DammFam and GunFam drove the local suppression level. Most recently, the Amamake Offensive concluded on 13 April YC128; outcome: a definitive strategic success for the Tribal Liberation Force against a dual threat in the Hed constellation.
Not all fronts are quiet. Auga FW Plexing is currently active; the latest log notes that the fight for this critical atmospheric valve remains heavily contested. Additionally, The Siege of Olfeim remains an intense incursion transforming the quiet pockets of the system in Heimatar into a blazing battleground.
The threat of the Angel Cartel is further highlighted by the accepted mission Amarr Defector at Large!, where participants are tracking Dameon Jaeger following his treacherous defection to the Cartel. Simultaneously, logistical efforts like The First Stones: Base Metals and The First Stones: Noble Gas are currently accepted by participants, focusing on the extraction and stabilization of volatile planetary materials to support the broader Jetunba Do'Bara initiative.
Amidst these border clashes, the political landscape of New Eden shifts. In mid-April YC128, Alix Moreau was elected President of the Gallente Federation with 34.8% of the popular vote, claiming a narrow victory in one of the closest elections on record. Meanwhile, members of the CONCORD Inner Circle and AIR Laboratories signed an amendment to the Yulai Accords establishing special rules governing Exordium, a newly charted region of space.
The enemies of the Republic believe us weak. Prove them wrong.
