Political Turmoil and Rising Threats
The recent political upheaval within the Gallente Federation has created dangerous ripples across the region. Following a rigorous Senate inquiry, President Celes Aguard was impeached on January 29, YC128. The rushed trial was heavily influenced by an impassioned speech from Senator Lucas Tenzin, who condemned Aguard for overseeing a severe drop in the quality of life for the Federation's poorest citizens and a corresponding rise in disenfranchisement.
Taking direct advantage of this governmental instability and the divided attention of federal authorities, Serpentis forces and other opportunistic pirate groups have begun prowling the Intaki system and the wider Viriette constellation. These hostile elements are actively seeking to disrupt and harass local capsuleer operations, exploiting the political chaos to expand their illicit enterprises.
Call to Arms: Intaki Security Patrol
In response to the escalating pirate menace, the Intaki Liberation Front is mobilizing to secure their home territories. Capsuleers are urgently requested to assist in these defensive efforts. Pilots must actively seek out and destroy pirate ships, as well as dismantle any unauthorized structures established by these factions within the affected zones.
