UNIT LEDGER: THE RUST ORCHESTRA
Feb 07 – Mar 09 Campaign: The Rust Orchestra

The directive was clear: answer the Amarr silence with deafening noise. As part of the Rust Orchestra, our pilots deployed to the Auga constellation, transforming the "burning gate" into a chaotic theater of autocannon fire and hull breaches. We rejected the Imperial preference for isolated, honorable duels, instead bringing the full weight of the swarm to bear against their heavy assets. The operation, characterized by high-tempo brawling and relentless attrition, saw our forces dismantle over 28 billion ISK of enemy materiel, proving that the Republic is built not by solitary heroes, but by the collective roar of the fleet.

Spearheading the assault, pilots like Dima Volenkov and GG Ronuken were instrumental in breaking the local heavy armor dominance, coordinating the takedown of high-value targets including a 1.9 billion ISK Bhaalgorn. The fighting in Auga was particularly savage, with the Dal gate becoming a focal point for nightly violence. Boo Hill and the forward detachments turned this chokepoint into a kill zone, denying the Amarr any respite or room to maneuver. Meanwhile, KingSaphira demonstrated exceptional lethality, maintaining a fifty-kill streak that underscored our operational dominance in the border systems.

While the cost was not insignificant—dozens of hulls were spent to secure the field—the strategic objective was achieved. We shattered the sterility of the Amarr "Alone in the Dark" initiative, proving that their heavy interdictors and Apocalypses could be overwhelmed by sheer ferocity and numbers. The psychological impact of this campaign cannot be overstated; we didn't just win the ISK war, we broke the enemy's composure in their own staging grounds. The orchestra may have concluded its performance, but the ringing in the ears of the Amarr pilots will persist.
