Kasiha Valkanir, a Colonel in CONCORD's DED, has been actively involved in various significant operations throughout New Eden.

Most recently, on October 5, 2018, Valkanir attended a CONCORD Inner Circle meeting to discuss ongoing ship disappearances. She was set to provide insights and recommendations regarding the rising threats to spacelanes that were heavily affecting commercial travel.

On September 20, 2018, Valkanir was tasked with leading a search and rescue operation after a Minmatar Republic naval vessel went missing in the Molden Heath region. Her command was considered vital, not only for the recovery efforts but also to reassure the Ammatar and Amarr Empire that CONCORD was not favoring the Minmatar Republic's interests during the investigation.

On October 10, 2018, Valkanir announced the formation of the AEGIS division, which aims to bolster spacelane security and combat hijacking incidents. Under her leadership, the division has conducted operations to tackle emergent threats in regions identified as high-risk.

As the Provost Marshal of AEGIS, Valkanir actively participated in efforts against the Triglavian Collective during their invasions, helping to coordinate military responses and put forward strategies to protect New Eden from further encroachments. During a military briefing on August 19, 2022, Valkanir praised capsuleers involved in the defense of the Niarja system, thanking them for their valiant efforts against the Triglavian Collective, even though the system ultimately fell to invaders.
